MUSIC NOTES
- I listened to "You're Not Good Enough" by Blood Orange like every single day this month to the point where I had to teach myself rudimentary funk guitar so I could learn how to play the main riff...I've been at it for like 2 weeks and I'm still not playing it entirely correct and no way can I do vocals over it but DAMN that's a dope riff...honestly his whole "Cupid Deluxe" album kicks ass but that song in particular is just the banger
- Favorite "new finds" of the month: Crazy P, King's X, Mercy Ties, Where The Sidewalk Ends, Quarrels, Kississippi, Sheer, Letters To Catalonia, Slow Code, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Eric Dahlman
- Why "Mystery" isn't on Dio's greatest hits album really is a mystery
- Myotonia was only around for like a split second but they kicked fucking ass; when I saw them at the Showcase back in like 2007 it was like I was slackjawed at how badass they were
- The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are alright I guess but how in the fuck were they so popular for awhile? Not entirely my bag
- After all these years of seeing their patches on crusty kids's jackets, that was the first time I think I ever listened to Capitalist Casualties...a bit generic but alright
- I interviewed Somewhat Ace when \_/ played with them but then I lost my phone like 2 days later so don't look out for that one...sorry guys
- Never been a big fan but after "Behind The Sun" I think "Easily" is probably my favorite RHCP song

- I really liked that first Panic! At The Disco album back in high school and my god this new album has absolutely none of the things I liked about them...I mean, what the hell happened?
