MUSIC NOTES
- "Every fucking day I have to put up with the sight, smell, and general unhealthiness of another's fucking cigarette, you motherfuckers"
- That Discharge album that came out in the year 2000 sucks
- Worst of the month: Play For Keeps, Infinity Ink, Splitbreed, Ruen Brothers
- Favorite 'new finds' of the month: Elephant Skin, Tommy Boys, Sonny Burgess, Murder City Devils, Kazi, The Ruts, Lettuce, Peacemaker, Tank
- Damn I forgot how irresistibly catchy "Tragic Kingdom" is
- Conflict is a bit too heavy-handed for my tastes. Same thing goes for War On Women.
- Ugh, Pennywise
- I was on a pretty strong NIN trip almost all month long..."Nothing Can Stop Me."
- Upon hearing Sonny Burgess's voice for the first time my thought was "DAMN the guy from The Blasters is ripping on this guy's style" and then I learned that The Blasters and Sonny Burgess collaborated at some point so it all adds up
- I can't believe I never listened to the Murder City Devils before, if their comeback album is as badass as this one is I really gotta check out the older stuff
- I've listened to "The Silent Enigma" a few times in the past and it didn't really do much for me but I put it on while doing the dishes and cleaning my apartment and it made a much stronger impression
- I've had that Ruts CD for a long time and never listened to it til this last month...boy was I missing out
- I have always thought the Counting Crows were one of the lamest bands of all time and their new album did nothing to dissuade me
- "Start acting like a human being."
- "Where'd You Go?"
- Thanks Bennie

MOVIE NOTES
- Even for being so disrespected and besmirched, Kevin Smith is still hella overrated
- I got Netflix
- I don't find Nick Offerman to be humorous like at all
- The concept of how "Escape From Tomorrow" was even filmed is intriguing enough to sometimes distract from the movie's plot
- That was the first time I had ever seen "GoodFellas"
- Damn, people were correct to talk shit on that Hangover sequel, shit was terrible
- O my god "Father Of The Bride Part II" is a gratingly terrible movie....goddamn Steve Martin what were you thinking
- "Stay strong, and hold on tight, Spirit Crusher..."
- I love "30 Rock." There, I said it.
- Wes Anderson is good but IDK...too much 'quirkiness'...kinda twee...all things twee must be destroyed.
- "Stealing Harvard" is one of the worst movies I've ever seen...How was Tom Green so famous??

BOOKS
3/4/15: Frankenstein - Or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley
The Cat With Two Homes by Tim Healey, illustrated by Jo Burroughs
3/18/15: The Importance Of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
3/19/15: The Story Of The Other Wise Man by Henry Van Dyke

BOOK NOTES
- Frankenstein is an absolute masterpiece and has been severely misrepresented by the horror-movie interpretation of the story...One of my favorite books I've read in quite awhile
- I've had The Cat With Two Homes since I was a small child and it will always be dear to me
- At first I thought The Importance Of Being Earnest was stupid as shit but then I realized, that's the whole point. Well played.
