NOTES:
  • -         I <3 Cannibal Corpse
  • -          Suagrhill Gang songs are way too long
  • -          I totally forgot about Anomie
  • -          The Jay-Z/Kanye album is better than I expected, but that’s not saying much
  • -          Real Estate is one of my favorite new bands, very good album
  • -          I didn’t realize that Murphy’s Law was such a joke band
  • -          The new MMJ album isn’t nearly as good as their past stuff
  • -          Amon Tobin makes some bizarre music but its goddamn cool
  • -          Deception Of A Ghost is about as generic as their name implies
  • -          I thought Bomb The Music Industry was supposed to be a ska band
  • -          I never thought I’d be saying this, but that Styx album was pretty dope
  • -          The Fucking Champs don’t sound at all like what I thought they would. Same for Lemuria.
  • -          Cloud Nothings deserve the hype
  • -          A few songs into the Groundswell album I started to think, “Why does this suck so bad?” so I looked them up and it turns out they went on to become Three Days Grace. That explains a lot.
  • -          The Jesus Jones album I listened to is every bit as bad as any rational music listener would expect it to be, and I don’t know what I was thinking listening to it.
  • -          I get it, but I find Le Tigre to be pretty annoying most of the time
  • -          That was the first time I’d listened to a Fugazi album for far too long
  • -          Why the guy from Fall Of Troy decided to break up Fall Of Troy and start a band with a different name but that still sounds exactly like Fall Of Troy, I don’t understand.

I also saw Ethan Harvey, The Hellraisers, Xpulsion, The Coltranes, Ten Thousand Leagues, Griever, and Wolves In The Throne Room perform live.
